Not a very large Asda but is well stocked. My wife and I were close by and thought we would pop in. More out of curiosity than anything. It was early morning and the parking was still free. We had friendly help from the staff we asked for help. All in all we were happy with this store.
Most staff are not so friendly, actually rather moody, I've said hello many times when being served and get ignored. They need teaching on basic customer service etiquette. Chewing gum with an open mouth is also very rude I think but that might be just me.
On holiday. Not good had to pay for parking. Milk was 1.24 for 2 ltrs. At home it is 99p for the same product. Is this because it is a captive market, no competition. Didn't look around at anything else. Didn't get the parking back as I didn't spend enough, so milk cost me even more. Would not go back. Will pick up what I need on my travel's.
Good in a small town. Joy was not to her name and did not know the price of the bread of the lady in front as it was not on the system. Moved over to the place where they sell cigarettes and was served by Karen . Lovely. Purchased Pepperoni pasta bake for tea and was a good spicy sauce!( that's good)
As another respondent has noted, parking is chargeable during working hours, however a refund is available IF YOU ASK FOR IT AT A TILL as long as you spend more than a few .It isn't a large store, so it's OK for a limited shopping outing, but doesn't stock everything you might want. The staff are all helpful and show you around if you need it.The building is a little run down and the cleaning leaves much to be desired. It's not a pleasant shopping experience.
