We had a lovely meal on Sunday. I had requested a quiet table and that is what we got. The staff were as friendly as always and the food superb. The panna cotta was the best ever. .
70th Birthday Lunch with the family. Great service and bustling, friendly atmosphere. Excellent lunch menu options, enjoyed by all the party. Three courses for just less than 20. I opted for the brie, venison stew and chocolate brownie. Every course was very tasty and beautifully cooked. Portion sizes just right to enjoy all three courses without being too stuffed. Fantastic value, for the quality of the food. Highly recommend, will definitely go back.
Really nice food and not too complicated. Everyone working there was extra helpful and friendly as well. We had a party of 15 and weren't kept waiting at all, they took our order on the day and split the bill to our specific requirements! Really great burger, juicy and slightly pink, and they have my favourite ale ever, Wye valley HPA
